Association of Research Management Indigenous Indonesia (APMAI) is an association of practitioners and scholars as well as other parties who have a desire to bring all forms of tradition that developed in communities throughout Indonesia in order not fade eroded by the flow of foreign cultural or technological advances that exist today.
All members of APMAI aware that the cultural heritage of the archipelago is so widely spread in Indonesia this has incredible value precious and how the cultural wisdom are able to maintain family ties, help each other and help selflessly in an atmosphere of cooperativeness that exist in every activity, keep the preservation of nature for the common welfare and passed on to the next generation, or provide humanitarian values and harmonious living with nature that is integrated into daily life as a form of thanksgiving for the blessings bestowed by god Almighty, whether in the form of dance, music , painting, speech, or in the form of houses, cropping patterns, how to raise cattle, and other forms of activities.
APMAI formed in Malang in serious talk of some of the students who took a doctoral program in management science (PDIM) force in 2012 at UB, arising from the great admiration of the noble values contained in the arts, culture and local traditions at the same time concern that the value the -the value eroded by the current era that is currently available, either because of the rapid entry of foreign culture to Indonesia as well as technological advances are a bit much to eliminate customs that exist in Indonesian society.
On November 28, 2014, after formulating the Statutes, the founding diresmikanlah APMAI with registered before Notary Lina Gani Setyawati in Malang on January 24, 2015, by obtaining Determination Letter Deed No. 30 on the establishment of the Association of Indonesian Indigenous Management Research (APMAI).
Membership APMAI open to all people, both young scholars or researchers, or the general public, who have a concern for the noble values of humanity and local wisdom, have moral concerns that strong to preserve the cultural or noble traditions in the context of national and international so that they can be the wealth of the nation can be proud and color management concepts that apply today. On the other hand, the diversity of traditions and noble culture scattered throughout the Indonesian archipelago is able to unite in a spirit of togetherness, acknowledged for diversity, and national pride.
